Valley Forge Dog Policy
Valley Forge National Historic Park is Dog Friendly
Valley Forge is the location of the Continental Army's encampment over the winter of 1777-1778. The park encompasses over 3500 acres, including meadows, forests, and a number of monuments.
Valley Forge National Historic Park is dog friendly, and dogs are allowed throughout outdoor areas while on a leash no longer than 6'. Dogs are not allowed to be left unattended here.
Valley Forge National Historic Park has run the BARK Ranger Program in the past as a special program. In 2023, one of our readers confirmed with the park that they did run the B.A.R.K. Ranger program, however it is was tied to special events several times a year that are posted on the park's calendar of events on Facebook. In 2024, we've heard they're not running the program anymore.
