Fort Washington Park is Dog Friendly
Fort Washington was built to defend the river approach to Washington, DC. Fort Washington was updated as time went on from brick and stone to concrete and steel. The park offers exploration of the fort, hiking along the river, and viewing the historic Harmony Hall.
Fort Washington Park is dog friendly. Dogs are allowed at most outdoor areas, including fortifications, and on trails while on a leash. Dogs are not allowed inside buildings, and dogs must not be left unattended.
